I would not consider that a prediction. More of a desire expressed in biblical times by a displaced people. Besides, modern day people making their claim to ancient "god given" land merely requires military might, not magic.
There was never any military might used in securing the land. Remember the first time God promised to Abraham that the land would be filled by his descendants and that happened through of nomadic tribesman who wandered the desert for forty years. Wandering in a desert is no way to build a mighty army, now is it?
No army secured the land in modern times either the world voted to restore the nation of Israel to the Jewish people. An army has been used in the past and in recent times to keep the land secure. At least it was secure in ancient times until as God told Moses they would lose there home because of sin as a nation.
So let's examine what has happened, God took a wandering desert tribe and through them secured the land for them and then in modern times God convinced the world powers to re-establish the nation of Israel, no magic was needed the power of the might God was what was needed.

Yeah paramilitary groups like the Stern Gang (which was modelled off the Nazi SS) were what created modern Israel, through a genocide called the Nakbah.
Every where you look you see parallels between modern Israel and (some of) the groups which were so hot on persecuting jews last century.

Says the man who knows fuck all about history (otherwise you wouldn't be fellating yhwh) or reading comprehension. The second temple was also known as the the temple of Solomon, because it was built on the supposed site and to the supposed dimensions of the alleged original.
It was known as Herod's temple, built by Herod.

Yeah, that "prophecy" says nothing about the nation of Israel ... nor any nation-building at all.

Really then how do you explain a prophecy from the Bible coming to pass, especially since Israel is the only country to come back after 2000 years. You might want to rethink your position.

Israel was formed through a world vote, military force was used to keep the boarders safe and they are still being defended today. Israel defeated the Middle Eastern countries in a 6 day war. Sounds Biblical to me.

Oh yes they do. Ever since the orange shitgibbon decided to run for office and named Pence as his running mate, this country has slid backwards so badly, it's like the last 60 years worth of progress just got flushed down humanity's toilet.
The bible toting, gun nut loving, rebel flag waving, hot messes below the Mason-Dixon line, have done everything they can to show their obvious hatred for anyone who isn't a trump supporter. And those are Christians. As soon as anyone who stands up for the rights of everyone, there's a white supremacist group hanging in the backdrop, waiting to make a scene.
That idiot who drove his car through a crowd of peaceful protesters - he believed in god. I guess he felt persecuted that a bunch of innocent bystanders were protesting a statue of his slave owning hero, Lee. He took his feeling persecuted and drove his hatred into a crowed and killed a woman.
No one has fringed on your rights. But I love how you conveniently left off a list of those "rights", in your post. Sorry, but if you are in the US, you have just as many rights as anyone other citizen. You don't get special treatment just because you believe in one more god than I do. And no one has taken your rights away.

Oppression would work. Or tyranny. Those are both terms that are similar to, but more severe than, persecution. You shoulda just checked a dictionary.
