Oh please, if a conservative claimed this, you guys would say - correctly - that America brought in immigrants due to a need for labor and treated them like crap. Africans were slaves, Chinese not much better off.

Actually, if a conservative said that, I'd reply, 'Who are you and why are you disguised as a conservative?'

It would seem that you're worse... I'm going to address a few of your points.

Have you been to Haiti (I have twice)? If not what exactly qualifies you to refer to it as "one of the worst countries in the world?

Except Michael Sam WAS drafted so you point is pretty much moot.

Quote:Over the course of the season, 10 quarterbacks were worse than Kaepernick, 7 were about the same (plus or minus 0.35 ANY/A) and 15 were better.

According to this list, Kaepernick was rated higher than Eli Manning and Cam Newton. Jay Cutler who is 5th from last (heck, there is even a rookie rated higher than him)on that list was picked up by and starts for the Miami Dolphins. Not to mention the fact that Kaepernick is a running quarterback and that list doesn't take that fact into account.

At this point they are skipping over Kaepernick and bringing quarterbacks back from retirement, so please stop acting like race has nothing to do with it.

I only responded to those points to show that you're full of it, let's try to stay on topic.

You're one up on me, then - I've never been to Haiti. Wouldn't averse to going, though.

RE: Some countries literally are shitholes
Regarding Haiti, you can read about their issues on the interwebs.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Restavek Is a fun one. People risk their lives fleeing Haiti for a reason.

Michael Sam was a great college player, but needed to be bigger or faster. But the people hyping up his gayness ignored that. St. Louis picking him 249 out of 256 was a nice story. Probably a PR move. There's no shame in not making the NFL roster. Being a domninant college player is an amazing achievement. What was dumb was people hyping up his football skills because he was gay.

Re Kaepernick, Michael Vick had a dog fighting ring and went to jail, and he got a shot. White people LOVE dogs. But they thought he could be effective. Nobody was trying to cut Ezekial Elliot. Kobe Bryant raped some lady, and that was fine. Bill Belichek and Tom Brady are Trump supporters, and everyone in New England still loves them. The point being that if you could be an asset, people will happily overlook murder allegations (ray lewis).

What the fuck does dog fighting have to do with 45 being a fucking asshole? White assholes ride bulls, did anyone ask the bull permission? White Europeans still torture bulls by stabbing them to death. Do you protest bull riding and bull fighting?

Any sane animal vet can also TELL YOU that animal racing such as Horse and greyhound racing, runs the animal into the ground, and they get used like underwear. Ringling Brothers too. If you are going to say animals are not there for our entertainment, doesn't matter if we stab them, or chain them, it is still not about race.

So if you are going to condemn treatment of animals, make it about the animal, NOT RACE.

Our species ability to be cruel or compassionate, to other humans or to animals, is NOT RACED BASED.

Here's a radical idea stop fucking over countries like Haiti every time they look to improve themsels. Stop backing military dictatorships. Stop funding islamist terrorists. Stop thwarting the democratic will of other countries.

Why yes sir, I shall get right on that immediately! Smile
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

RE: Some countries literally are shitholes
They are shithole countries, but I still think the people of those countries should be helped and I don't have a problem with the immigration. If they were turning the US to shit then it would make sense not to want them to come, but I don't think they're doing that. The US will be just fine.

I do find it pretty amusing though that the MSM is literally shedding tears on the air (several anchors coming to tears on CNN alone) over the shithole comment, while they continue to prop up the invasion and occupation of many of these shithole countries. Talking about shithole countries? Unacceptable and racist, but the media praises Trump's decision to strike and occupy Syria. lol some resistance there.

DAMN,

45's usage of that word was not, "They are not doing economically well." It was about RACE. No matter how bad a country might be doing economically, it is STILL wrong to assume the guilt of the individual that might seek a better life by coming here. 45 has SHIT on Puerto Rico, whom ARE part of our nation.

When he called them "shitholes" he was pandering to the same bigoted assholes who he called "good people". He means, "Don't migrate here unless you are white."

RE: Some countries literally are shitholes
Does being from a shithole country mean we shouldn't take someone in? Funny, I thought our principles were exactly the opposite:

“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.”

― Emma Lazarus (on the Statue of Liberty)
