That the disbelief of insignificant mortal creatures means anything to a god is laughable. I care not if the ants in my back yard notice my presence. I certainly don't want their worship, let alone want to spend eternity with them, or waste my time picking the 'good' ones from the 'bad' ones in order to do it.
For any Christian or one who opposes it; who thinks this.... you really should read the Bible or find a better place to get your information.

I've tried to read the bible several times. Couldn't make it through Genesis. It's just so boring, and as a skeptic, I think to myself "prove it" with just about every line read.
EDIT: Despite that, I'm not entirely sure where I'm supposedly wrong. Christians talk about their god being the Father all the time. Not just Jesus's father, but the father of all creation. It's not like I'm pulling the notion out of my ass... its your own metaphor.

That seems like a pretty crappy excuse... the question would seem to be now that you know about your ignorance, do you keep doing the same thing?

Why should anyone care about what the Bible says in the first place? I’m still waiting for a good answer to this question.

If "go read the bible !!!" actually answered anyone's questions then why has all the bible reading by bible believing christians managed to produce nothing other than confusion and disagreement?
It seems like a silly suggestion...it;s not even working for you.

I notice he didn't address my edit. Funny, that
Of course, like Khem notes, it's not like the bible seems to be clear on, well, anything. If it was, there wouldn't be all this hot, sloppy, sects.
EDIT: the bible starts with "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Prove it. And, I don't mean give me a seven day recipe that's really just a backwards litany of what ancient man noticed about their little slice of the earth. That's not compelling in the least, especially since Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 swap some of the details around ("but it's allegory!" According to some, but not all. And it's not like it being an allegory helps, since it all reduces down to "God did it" anyway. Bah!).

I don't think that it is that much of a problem on many things.
When scientist or philosophers have disagreements do you feel the same?

If it is true, then I would think that you should care..... however that is up to you.

That sounds a little too much like Pascal’s Wager, and not much like a substantive answer, RR.
