Ursula LeGuin dead?

RE: Ursula LeGuin dead?
Yes, BBC was reporting it on my drive home tonight.

I never read any of her works, but I understand she had a huge fanbase and was regarded as a fine writer. Sad loss in that case.

I missed those but I did enjoy the dragon rider series. RIP.

I wasn't a particular fan of her work (just not to my taste), but she did a helluva lot to move speculative fiction into the mainstream.

Not a trilogy. there are a fourth and fifth novel in the series. IV is called Tehanu: The last book of Earthsea of which readers will correctly identify the topic and V. The other wind. I have not read it, so cannot comment.  I read the original three in my formative years. Decades later I still enjoy them.

UKLG had a style that would draw you in to the world she described. Not a common talent.

Blush offs. Yes it was. Blush

Edit: And what's more I've just looked in my Calibre library and I don't have any Ursula LeGuin. Blush
