And yet they can't vote, rendering your OP nugatory.

The purpose of this forum is to try to have a somewhat decent discussion. You are not even trying. Provocation for the sake of provocation.

Have you been drinking AM? You know this path will go no where, but your actions don't suit a capable person. Are you tired of the forum?

I have no problem deporting illegal immigrants that actively came here knowing they were flouting the rules. As a legal immigrant, it isn't fair that I paid out of my ass and spent months filling out forms, going for interviews, etc. just to get permission to enter the US and marry my wife (btw, they gave me 4 months to enter the US from the time I was approved, and then 3 months from entry to get married - you try planning a wedding in < 7 months!).

DACA recipients are different though. They came here as children, not aware that they were illegal, not having any say in the decision of their parents. They grew up thinking they were American, they contribute to society and pay taxes. More importantly, they can't get welfare or vote (I'm a legal immigrant and I can't do either of those things either). I don't think it's particularly fair to deport them to a country they don't know. We shouldn't punish children for the crimes of their parents.

Immigrants are just people crossing an invisible line to live, work or, gasp, even seek medical care and benefits. The best course of action is to give them legal paths to citizenship, which DACA isn't. I don't even care what build the wall idiots say. Humans are humans. Everyone needs a home.

I know I'm going to hear a bunch of shit about gangs and blah, blah. Arrest or kill all the asshole gang members for all I care. Gang activity is a separate issue, no matter where the gangs come from.

Immigrants work a hell of a lot harder to get here than you and I ever did, lol.  I worked as hard as...ya know...being born here.
I wonder if it Mexico hadn't lost Texas and the land lost in the Mexican-America War if the illegal aliens would still be invading the East Coast States for a better life?

It takes absolutely nothing away from us to keep the dreamers here. Sending them to a place they don't know will do absolutely nothing but ruin their lives. We seem to have a huge population in this country bereft of empathy.

You can tell how big an asshole you are by the words you use to describe actual human beings.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Maybe if he starts out thinking of them as unborn his tune would change.

I have a better idea, make community college free and send them there instead. If I have to listen to bullshit about paying taxes for a more-mediocre-than-medieval defense system (a wall), then motherfuckers have to hear about how I think every single one of us should be educated if we want to be.
