One of my friends (high school age) used to put Scotch tape on the feet of his kittens, when his cat had a litter. They don't like the sticky feeling, so they pick their feet up, alternating so they don't fall over. If there are several kittens, multiply that by four feet, and you get this low-volume buzzing. He was quite amused.

I was just thinking that I am tempted to go through this thread just to see how it creeped from young children dancing to the mentally ill and criminal atrocities. My curiosity is tweaked.
