My understanding is; there is a court case pending to establish the facts. Cardinal George Pell is Currently under investigation and as of 5 AM GMT he is innocent of all wrongdoing.

Still, he did the World a service in his first debate with William Lane Craig, clearly proving the latter's overt dishonesty.

I do not know if the accusations against Krauss are true or not, but I suspect that they are; usually, multiple women do not very often collude in order to lie about someone's aggressive acts towards them.  But, yes, if Krauss is guilty of unwanted acts (such as groping), then he is, in my book at least, "a pervert".  And, I find him to be unnecessarily abrasive at times, the way that he insults other human beings publicly, sometime in the third person (he once referred to some individuals as being "crack pots" during one of his public presentations.)  I guess that I do not choose to behave as he does, on multiple fronts.

As for the Catholic clergy, yes, a much higher proportion of perverts in that group, and their crimes (often, against children) are far more grave than those that have been alleged against Krauss.

But, having said that, I do very much believe that human beings deserve second chances (even, third ones), and so, it is good to see that Professor Geoffrey Marcy is making a slow comeback:

I truly hope that Krauss will do the same!  And, hopefully, he will come through all of this with a little more kindness and compassion for others!
