That said, apparently I heard LRH planned to turn it into a movie before he turned it into the top-secret scripture it turned out to be. I'm not sure if this is the one he collaborated on it with Leni Riefenstahl, but I expect that time has passed.

OK, so I made it thru the first hour of programming without resorting to a lobotomy. What a bunch of clap trap. David comes on and says they tell you about everything about Scientology and from then on it's just one long commercial. Bunch of rah rah with zero substance.

Seriously, it’s like this is going to be yet another in the long line of sybaritic social projects they’re going to sink money into to make it look like they’re actually expanding into something huge when they’re not.

Seriously, it’s like this is going to be yet another in the long line of sybaritic social projects they’re going to sink money into to make it look like they’re actually expanding into something huge when they’re not.

It fits perfectly with the propaganda they force on their victims, They can pretend their reach is so vast and their contributions so great they now have a channel dedicated to spreading the message.

I hope the victims who have escaped that cult can instead use this a platform to run counter-programming at the same time.

Watched the next one "Meet a Scientologist". A husband and wife who make banjo's (apparently US largest maker-Deering). A rags to riches story that is only possible with, you guessed it, Scientology. They spend a lot of time on the success story and about 5 minutes on how Scientology assisted them. Surprise, surprise, they gave no details on how Scientology helped.

Well, it looks like any banjoists interested in not sending their money to Scientology can now look to Gold Tone and Recording King.

Then again, I’m not a big fan of banjos, since the fifth string really doesn’t work for someone who plays Albert King-style (maybe if I could find a good, inexpensive Tenor Banjo) and not that big a fan of consumer boycotts since they’re one of the least effective forms of nonviolent resistance out there.
