I've repped maybe 3 or 4 people total, just because the mood struck me. 

Cracks me up how atheists will bitch about people kissing god's ass when they're so into kissing each other's asses.

IMO there should be a 15- or 30-day waiting period before someone can receive reps. Some people have gotten a bunch early but then flaked out pretty quickly.

I tend to rep people who rep me.
I don't care much about the whole repping thing. But it seems the right thing to do when people take the time to rep me.
I think I repped one person myself, without being repped first.

I usually rep people because they said something that made me think of repping them. Plenty of people deserve one who haven't got one, and there are also plenty of people I wish I could rep with "fuck off, you little fart bubble," but I digress.

Mostly I don't think about it. Then there will be a repfest for someone and I'll throw my spawn around as liberally as all the other frogs in the pond until things die down again. I've started a few of those for people I thought deserved more than they had gotten, and one when I was hovering near three figures and really wanted to see that third digit role over.

For me rep is a form of control.

It encourages others to rep you back.

If they don't, you know who your enemies are and they go on the list...

I go on rep binges where I rep a lot of people in one day. I rep them because I like them or agree with them. It is also a bonus if you get a return rep. I repped about 5 people yesterday and got one in return.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!
