Theophilus and Tack both make good points, I would like to add to what they have said. Those who will be in heaven have made a choice to be there and in that choice we have received grace and understand what God has done for us, we will find no need to exercise our freewill in a sinful manner, so yes there will be freewill in heaven. Even those who will live in the darkness of hell will have freewill, because they had no change in heart they never experienced grace and will find no reason not to keep on with there sinful attitude. Each will be alone and can do no harm to others, so for those who read this and go to hell you will find no pleasure there.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I love the way you exude confidence on something you cannot possibly know anything about. Absolutely amazing..to read your post...its like heaven and hell really exist, and are not just some made up fictional stories in a dusty old book. A little philosophy maketh one a christian. Lots of philoosophy and truth maketh one an atheist. In other words, you have to FORCE yourself to stop at the conclusions you have decided that you want. If you were to carry them out to their natural conclusion you would realize the very concept of hell is absolutely morally disgusting and tyrannical "worship me or be tortured in hell fire forever" is what your god has decreed, and you love him for it. You enjoy the idea of people who do not agree with you being horribly tortured for all eternity. If you didnt, then you would flat out refuse the belief in hell. But no... you love hell... you even worship the creator of hell. The master of hell is your god, for he choses who gets thrown into it or not. Praise your god of torturous hell fire and then act like you are morally superior to everyone else. get mad when Sadam hussein tortures Christians..but get happy and rejoice when your Hell god tortures everyone else you disagree with forever and ever. the belief in hell speaks VOLUMES of the inner SCUM that lay inside of your mind. You disgust me. (October 9, 2011 at 5:11 pm)reverendjeremiah Wrote:(October 9, 2011 at 4:53 pm)Godschild Wrote: Theophilus and Tack both make good points, I would like to add to what they have said. So you believe that Sadaam Hussein was right in what he did, you are a disgraceful person. Also seems to me your scare of hell and rightfully you should, no I do not like hell and wish no one to have to be there and where in my post did I say that one is tortured in hell and you can not show me any place in scripture that says hell is a place of torture. Quit reading false statements into what I post man up and address what is actually said.

Do not put words into peoples mouthes GC, the point Rev made is clear.
You say Saddam is bad for torturing christians, but you rejoice in god torturing people in hell for an eternity. RE: Is their free will in heaven?

I can show you any of these places. Of the three words translated to hell in your bible, one of them absolutely and without any argument from anyone whatsoever means torture. "Tartarus" fruitcake. Had this convo on the forums awhile back with Salty I believe. Good thread I'll try to dig it up for you.
(take away the torture and no one would believe in your tiny, fear-mongering god)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I have spent countless minutes showing G-C all the verses about Hell that make it into a place of torture and all he does is ignore it. I even point out that his very signature speaks of a "stroll through hell" with a firey demon on it and he still acts like hell isnt torture. Apparently hell is an eternal punishment... but that somehow doesnt = torture to him. To me, he just wants to avoid any negative wording for anything he believes in. "Torture" is negative, and reserved for him to use for other religions. See how quickly he turns my words and twists them? Either he isnt very bright, not very good at reading comprehension, or just prefers to outright lie. I think its a mix of all three. RE: Is their free will in heaven?

Been a lot of that recently. Hell is becoming a "removal from the grace of god" in all the trendy new fundy shitholes. They realized the torture bit wasn't compelling anymore so they're attempting to change the script. Typical.
