The fucking christians KILLED everyone who didn't worship their retarded god. Fucking, DUH.

If you really think the greeks of antiquity stole all their religions from the OT, then you... are unbelievably misled. I was going to say something mean, but I scratched it because I am making an effort to be nicer in the face of incomprehensible stupidity.

Friedrich Nietzsche basher!!! FUCK YOU! No one has EVER walked through hell. A place has to first exist before it can be walked through... Faith has never proved anything, especially the existence of hell..

Just because God knows what the future will be it in no way means we do not have freewill. We make choices every day and do not know what will result from a lot of them. I think that you do not understand what freewill is as applied to christianity, you have only two choices, either you accept Christ or not and from there your life is a result of that choice.

Yawn.. Freewill can neither be proven or disproven.

Prove that satan hasnt fooled the fuck out of you and made you think that Jesus is the savior of your soul...when in reality Zoroaster is the salvation of humanity.

You cant

So your argument is worthless

Prove to me that aliens arent using mind control rays to make you believe in Jesus just so they can get a laugh from watching you react.

right..and "saturday" isnt about Saturn at all..Jesus just felt that day was "saturish"

Just like Thursday" doesnt mean "Thors day". Jesus just felt a bit "thurry" that day.

You really dont know shit about religion do you?

Being a Christian is not about giving up your freedoms or memories, it's about Conforming to a higher ideal. It's not about heaven making itself compatible to you, or you still being who you are and having to give up something for peace in heaven. If you're getting into heaven it's because your old self has died and you're made new, in Love and selflessnes. I feel yoou have the same freedom to choose you do in heaven as you do here. If Lucifer can disobey God, then it's not heaven that prevents free will, nor is there any lack of choice to go against God. I would add that it's not acting in your own interests that is a sin, but it's acting against God's interest in you that is a sin.

I don't necessarily agree with theophilus that we're at any time without the ability to choose. Nor do I beleive it is the Christin standard to believe that once you've given your life to Christ that you are incabable of sin. We're human and we're all sinners (athesists can read selfish to not be offended), saved or not.

I'm on my phone, so I can't give you kudos. I just wanted to tell you this is an extremely clear sighted, biblically sound response, thank you!

Scenario 1/
A man walks up to you and tells you that you have two choices.

Either you hand over your wallet or get your brains blown out.

Where is the freewill in those choices?

Scenario 2/

God says worship me or burn in hell for eternity.

Where is the freewill in those choices?

Well, the evidence may be in for the xtians, but then again, they never needed a will. All they needed was a wish.

I have asked these questions before, and the answer I get is "God is bound by freewill. Therefore no matter what he does, humans freewill is intact. God is mysterious because of this. The theif, on the otherhand, is using his freewill to commit a sin against god by removing the freewill of another human."

Yeah..they do mental gymnastics like that. Thats why I really dont bother with debating them anymore.

The entire rule is "God is the exception to the the rule, and therefore proof that he is mysterious"

Which in turn means that the only rule for xtians is that there are no rules at all when it comes to their deity.

The senselessness of worshipping such a concoction of tripe saddens me. Truly tragic.
