Simple questions..simple answers.

You're still channeling the trumpster because you cant handle the reality of the fact that you like the koolaid more than other people do.  Personally, I think you;re better than that.   Prove me right, lol.

Actually; there's a small lovely Sura in the Quran that ends this problem we're having:

Quote:https://quran.com/109/2-6?translations=20
Sura 109, The Quran:

Sahih International

(1) Say, "O disbelievers,
(2) I do not worship what you worship.
(3) Nor are you worshippers of what I worship.
(4) Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship.
(5) Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship.
(6) For you is your religion, and for me is my religion."

So if the Quran says so; you got to understand me if I called the Sunni and Shiite cults to be teaching hate and lies, represented in the rude cherry picking of Hadiths.

Just like you.

Yet another problem with islam.  Muslims are compelled to call any dissent with their interpretation of magic book "hate and lies".  Gee, can't even imagine why that might breed violent extremism.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

We left if for different reasons then. I don't see how theists can go back to theism.

It depends on the reason as to why they left religion. Why did you leave islam?

I had logical problems I thought were unsolvable which made me believe I never was justified in believing in Islam as well.

When I solved all my problems (over 40 issues, I made a thread on shiachat with 28 of these issues), I realized I was very hasty. I then decided to give Quran another chance. Two years after I solved all my problems, I investigated and debated.

The thing that hanged me up from coming to Islam the most during that period was an emotional one,  I didn't want to believe other humans would end up in hell forever.

It took me a long time to come at peace with the concept of hell. So for the two years after I solved my problems, I didn't accept Islam and left it after I briefly came to it for two weeks again, out of the notion of hell.

I think it’s interesting how Christianity l, Islam, and Judaism all stem from the same God but have key differences. Almost they branch off into their own things. I’m most familiar with Christianity and Judaism as they are fairly similar except for Christians believe that Jesus is messiah whereas Jews believe their messiah hasn’t come yet. Followers of Islam or sons of ABRAHAM just like the Jews. It’s all so confusing but I’ve heard people make a lot of sense of it and try to convince me Christianity is right. I just don’t understand what Islam believes and why they think Israel is their land. Can someone clear this up if they know?

For me it isn't about hell or evil existing that makes me shy away from god. It's that I realized there isn't a god to shy away from in the first place. Once you see reality for what it is, it's impossible to go back to the ignorant bliss that you once believed in.

If I were to ever go back to islam it would be like a child that has grown into an adult starting to believe in santa claus. I would either be lying to myself or went insane.

Now of course if some god were to be rationally proven with clear evidence then I'd be a part of that religion but would require no FAITH. We do not need faith for reality to exist.

But if your god calls for faith don’t you need faith in order to follow that religion?
