I'll add, that it's exhausting. To try and parse through a story and pick out facts, and remove all the imagined intent and assumed meaning isn't easy.
A fun example was Melania's coat. It was a Rorschach test. Everybody read exactly what they wanted into it. She didn't care about the kids if you're way to the left. She doesn't care about the media if you're on the right. She was taking a shot at Trump if you felt like going that way.
But the "News" was "Melania wore a coat that said blah blah blah. Her intentions are unclear." Nobody can read her mind. So every single article, and there were plenty of them, hypothesizing on what she actually meant was bullshit guessing. That's not how journalism is supposed to work. That's the kind of analysis that is supposed to be left for dummies like us rambling on on message boards.

Bullshit. She knew exactly what she was doing, just like she dressed up like Jacky O as FLOTUS on inauguration day. She really does not care, if she did, advocating for her "anti bullying" campaign, if she were truly for that, she'd turn around and tell here bully of a husband to fucking knock it off. She knew what she was doing. She loves the power of the role but she does not care about society. She only cares about her, just like her husband only cares about himself.
The only thing I would defend her on is people bringing up her nudity in the past. Her prior nudity has nothing to do with her morality. There is lots of reasons to dislike her, like her pawning Michelle's speech, and just like this jacket, In both cases she knew what she was doing. This is a lady who speaks 5 languages.
She knew exactly what she was doing when she picked that jacket. But, if you want to claim we can't read her mind, then that still makes her insensitive and or ignorant as to how that could be viewed. It does not reflect well on her one bit.

Milo texts that in response to being asked for a comment on a story, presumably by people he doesn't like. He didn't encourage anyone, as it was a text message to a single person. That reporter of course prints the statement, and frames it as a call to violence, even though Milo had no audience until the reporter gave the statement one.
He's a despicable person, but this is a bullshit story. And this is normal. Where things are shifted just enough so that they are now just 'based on a true story.'
"People he didn't like" was a journalist. Who, because they were asking for a comment on a story, was of course going to print it. It's not like Milo said this in joking confidence to some nobody. This was his comment upon request.

Moreover, there's staff in place to help the first family in regards to basic things like proper etiquette in certain situations, picking out proper attire, etc. She might have the final say, but public appearances are generally managed by staff in order to project the proper tone/sentiment. To frame it as "Oh, Melania simply picked a trendy jacket and didn't realize what message it might project" is idiotic in the extreme.

I agree, and even more with her husband. It becomes obvious that that family does not give one fuck about global or national diplomacy or security when you have President Shithole shitting on 17 intel agencies during his run, to the point of even 50 REPUBLICAN former law agents calling him dangerous.
That family are not dumb, they know how to play on emotions, but as I have said before, there is a huge difference between being a smart con and a smart diplomat. They are smart cons, but they are inept as far as diplomacy.
They are a "reality TV" family. Jerry Springer might as well be our president.

Did the story (there where asking him to comment on) have anything; that the comment could legitimately be confused as a response to. It seems to me, like people are grasping at straws.

What is to "grasp" at?
President Shithole has ignored and vilified his own intel. He has vilified the free press. He has vilified entire races and religions. His wife has stolen clips of speeches of Michelle. She speaks 5 languages. How many stupid people do you know whom speak 5 languages? I consider myself smart and I only speak 1 language.
That family's behavior isn't indicative of a family that cares about bringing people together, much less diplomacy.

Context comes to mind.... this was not about Trump Brian.

This thread IS about Trump, I started it. And as long as FLOTUS blindly supports that asshole, it is about her as well.
