Is Donald Trump a traitor?!

Sure, but the question isn’t does he know he’s being an asshole. He may not actually know enough about the law to know he’s breaking it.

He's a master manipulator and he's got advisers around that know things. He's not stupid. So I'm still going to say that he knows he's breaking laws. He's doing the typical narcissist backpedal which is to act like you had no clue what you were doing. He makes his act convincing enough that people are dumb enough to buy it.

Those of us who have dealt with narcissists before, see right through his act.

He is more of a real person as much as he is an idiot and arrogant, then Bush, and Obama and Hillary.

Those snakes, are that, snakes that hide their poison. Obama caused more damage to the world and particularly to the middle-east, then any president of US.

I prefer a person like Trump be elected and show his true colors, the snakes like Obama and Hilary, who destroy the world and cause havoc in the land while appearing as if they try to do the opposite.

can't a duly elected President lead the nation in any direction he chooses ??

seems like by definition a president could not commit treason, only his misbehaving subordinates and/or critics could . . .
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Pretty sure drawing and quartering would be the traditional reward for treason.  I'd hope for weak horses only barely strong enough to get it done .. after much effort.

Much as I like the ideas presented, I think we’re missing a potential opportunity. We should rebrand the noose as ‘the Russian necktie’. All Russian neckties will have special design features not found on ordinary nooses: each of my neckties will come in Powerful Guy Red and will be fashioned in such a way as to hang obnoxiously below the belt-line, thus indicating the sheer animal potency of the condemned man.

I have the manufacturing and distribution lined up, thanks —ironically — to the good services of the Chinese firms that produce Ivanka’s shit.

I think this will be the next MAGA cap and could be Yuge! Who doesn’t like a good public hanging?

I'd say the majority of us have dealt with narcissism. I still don't think he's very intelligent. He's manipulative. It's not quite the same thing. I'm not saying he isn't a willful traitor, because he damn well may be. What I'm saying is that I wouldn't at all be surprised to find out he was just blundering through thinking he had a right to pick this side or that to protect his own ego. I wouldn't at all be surprised to learn he had no plan of treason. He just opened his mouth every day and stuck like glue to whatever came out of it.

Some seem to want to paint Trump as Little Finger

No, a president is not allowed to break laws. That includes treaties, by the way. The Presidency is only *one* branch of the government. The Congress is another, fully equal branch and can overrule the President or even impeach and convict him if need be. Furthermore, it is *only* Congress that gets to decide what is and is not allowed during an impeachment hearing. And if Congress decides the President committed treason and convicts him, that is legal and even as things were intended to operate.

IMHO, we are at war with Putin's Russia. It's a war of propaganda and cyber-espionage; and our president is purposefully crippling our efforts at defending against these tactics, at best for his own aggrandizement. We should be mounting counter-propaganda and counter-cyber-espionage efforts proportionate to the threat. Russia should be facing blowback, not public submission from our president.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

No. Election is not a suicide pact for the nation, much as the republicans would want it to be.
