Ah okay, cheers. That sounds more like my cup of tea 
I found it, and realized I've seen it before. I watched some of it again to refresh my memory.
Matt describes exactly what I've been saying, Peterson not properly answering questions, and talking nonsense when he does actually answer them. I know as a sceptic I should watch the whole thing and see if Matt's take it accurate, but for the state of my mental health I'm going to have to skip that. I have watched quite a few videos of Peterson talking before, and that's what he's been like every time, so I have no reason to think this would be different.

His comment on enforced monogamy was taken WAY out of context. He was talking about social norms in a society that pushes people to stay monogamous. This is the current state in most developed countries. The norm is to be monogamous. That's all he was saying. I can give you the direct quote from Joe Rogan Podcast if you're not convinced.
As far as being bigoted against homosexuals/trans people I'm not so sure about that. I've never heard him say anything degrading about either. In fact he has been quoted as saying he's happy to call trans people by their preferred pronouns he just doesn't believe there should be laws forcing us to do so, a sentiment I whole-heartedly agree with.
I do think he can be quite dodgy when it comes to religion/god.
Beyond that I've never found anything Peterson has said to be all that detestable. Uninteresting maybe. But the hate he gets? I really don't get it.
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.

Look at him lie and misrepresent himself in this video. At 12:10, he claims to be an evolutionary biologist. Whoops. No, you're not JP. You're a hack fraud.

Eh. Clinical psychology is a cross-disciplinary field by design, and includes evolutionary theory and clinical research. A few seconds with google will see how intertwined the field is with evolutionary biology (i.e. of the brain and behaviors). I'd wager you can find plenty of lectures in which Peterson discusses at great length the influence of evolutionary biology on behavior and cognition. Remember, he's not some Youtuber that just became famous for being obnoxious-- he's a professor at a top university, and has been for quite a long time.
Is there some specific point of his evolutionary claims with which you disagree?

He's not "an evolutionary biologist", though. Not in qualification, and certainly not in practice. Every instance I've come across, he has no idea what he's talking about, including in this book. He just makes stuff up based on how he thinks his psychology would apply.
