Homeopathic nonsense is as absurd as believing prayer trumps scientific medicine.

All we can do is give a measure of confidence. Claiming absolute certainty about reality is ridiculous, so I don't think it's even worth including on a scale. 0% could be maximum confidence that a statement is false, and 100% maximum confidence that it is true. It's similarly pointless to talk about solipsism or baseless worldwide conspiracies, unless you're specifically interested in those topics.
I'd say I have about 0.1% confidence that diluting active ingredients improves their potency, in general at least. All available evidence I'm aware of points to this being false. Feel free to send me a private message.

In cases where no putative mechanism for an effect is known, it is perfectly legitimate to demand a higher level of significance in the outcome. Most of these studies already take the placebo effect into account by comparing results to that of a control group. Between those two factors, it becomes clear that homeopathic remedies have not been shown to provide a measurable benefit over any other ineffective remedy. Whether it provides any measurable benefit over no treatment at all depends both on the nature of the problem and its ordinary course of resolution, and how you define benefit. Regardless, in neither case is the null hypothesis supported by the failure to overturn it. Thus we can conclude that homeopathy has not been shown to work, but we cannot conclude that it has been shown that it doesn't work.I feel like the sarcasm in my post was missed. Indubitably. I know it doesn't work.
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.
