I cannot believe that you take any of this shit seriously. Adam and Eve: More than two ancestors? to my dearest...
What if there were more than two people in the seven day creation? what if Chapter one day 6 God creates a whole race of people, and chapter 2 on day 3 The son creates the garden and adam and eve apart from everything else the father was doing at the same time outside the garden?? That's what every bible on the planet says... (even if your mandela effect recollection has it completely wrong)
Simple one, that is what I believe, that is what I have been teaching since I have been here. this reading also affords me the option to assimilate the whole of evolution in the time span between chapter 2 of genesis and chapter 3. It also tells me chapter 3 happened about 6000 years ago

That's what every bible on the planet says... (even if your mandela effect recollection has it completely wrong) Chapter and verse? chapter 1 day 6 just like I referenced in the original paragraph...
26 Then God said, “Now let’s make humans[f] who will be like us.[g] They will rule over all the fish in the sea and the birds in the air. They will rule over all the large animals and all the little things that crawl on the earth.”
27 So God created humans in his own image. He created them to be like himself.[h] He created them male and female. 28 God blessed them and said to them, “Have many children. Fill the earth and take control of it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the air. Rule over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
29 God said, “I am giving you all the grain bearing plants and all the fruit trees. These trees make fruit with seeds in it. This grain and fruit will be your food. 30 And I am giving all the green plants to the animals. These green plants will be their food. Every animal on earth, every bird in the air, and all the little things that crawl on the earth will eat that food.” And all these things happened.
The to establish the time line in Chapter two verses four and five (day 3)
4 This is the story about the creation of the sky and the earth. This is what happened when the Lord God made the earth and the sky. 5 This was before there were plants on the earth. Nothing was growing in the fields because the Lord God had not yet made it rain on the earth, and there was no one to care for the plants.
Ok so we look to genesis 1 to see when god had made the earth and sky but no plant because there was no rain. that would be day 3.5
9 Then God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered together so that the dry land will appear.” And it happened. 10 God named the dry land “earth,” and he named the water that was gathered together “seas.” And God saw that this was good.
11 Then God said, “Let the earth grow grass, plants that make grain, and fruit trees. The fruit trees will make fruit with seeds in it.
So day 3 by verse 9 he made earth and sky, and verse 10 he makes plants. so between verse 9 and verse 10 All of Chapter two happens.
Chapter 2 is known as the garden narrative. it's creation is seperate from the 7 day creation of genesis 1. which shows the creation of the world. In Gen1 we have the Father doing the creating and in chapter two Jesus creates Adam and the garden while God creates the rest outside the garden.
The to establish it was Adam and not the rest of humanity was placed in the garden you have verses 5, 6 and 7

Chapter 2 no time was given between the completion of the second chapter and the beginning of chapter three. because there is no time line, adam and eve could have been in the garden a day week month year 10,000 years or the 138 kazillion years evolution needs.. it really doesn't matter at this point what science says because God has made a provision in the 7 day creation that encapsulates anything and everything man can foolishly imagine and yet maintain a literal 7 day creation.

Trouble, ofc, is that no such flood ever happened. So it doesn't matter what sort of timeline bickering you want to engage in.

Wikipedia -- Ussher chronology sorry but no
I am not saing the world was created a few millenia ago, that is the YEC position. My position is the earth was created when every science wants.. the number is meaningless to me. if science says a week ago then who am I to argue right? if science says it was 100 bazillion years ago the Creation day one happened 100 bazillion years ago. get it?
What I'm am saying is when God created it was at the beginning of the time science says it all started. Then I also say per genesis 2 the garden was a modern paradise made and set apart from primordial earth. Now while the earth and everything on it (except the garden) evolved or changed the garden and everything in it stayed the same while everything outside the garden changed/evolved until 6000 years ago which is when we can trace back the genealogies. many YEC mistaken assume that Adam and Eve's first kids were made right after the creation, so when they count back 6000 years it is counting back time to the 7 day creation.. the problem?
There is no time lie between the end of chapter 2, the end of the garden narrative, and the fall of man in chapter 3. I am saying because there is no time line and because we know Adam and Eve could have lived in the garden forever/immortal, they could have very well lived in the garden the 100 bazillion years science says it took for man to evolve from a banana, to a monkey, to a lizard ,to a man (I'm making fun because it doesn't matter what you all think because it all can be captured now in a literal seven day creation if one want to capture the 'scientific' narrative.
Quote:You can move the goalposts all that you want; I don't care.
I have not moved anything. I have taught this here for 6 or 7 years. it is not my fault you do not understand what you are arguing when you pick up and start typing. Or you just wrongly assume everyone has the same broken understanding of the bible as you do.
Common sense people If I had the same broken understand of the bible as you did would I then not come to the same broken conclusions? I have figured something out you have not, or at least I have found understanding you lack. Christian are no different than anyone else, other than the fact they have reached out to God and been lifted up by Him. You can't do that if your understanding of God tells you to trade good deeds for favors/answer prayers. that would be a broken view of God. one that leads to silence and ultimately up ended faith! I say that to say that is why my understand is and has been different of genesis than your own.

And, oddly, the KJV is a 17th century rendering for the fucking bible for the political aims of King James - or Queen James, if you prefer, drawn from second and third rate texts which hardly matters as they changed it at the end to make it more "poetic."

You literally can not deny this unless you are a flat out liar.. this is not a matter of interpretation it is literally spelled out on page.
You are flat out lying if you say otherwise. I might have to take a page out of Jorge's book and call you a bad name and then tag you with liar as well.
If you are truly this intellectually beaten why lie? it just makes the problem worse. I don't go after you guys unless you try and beat me up with made up facts. If you were to just drop a subject I would not say a word, I would just answer your next question. but when you lie after I clearly made a point to leave correct biblical references after you asked. I can't not defend the truth even if I have to identify you as someone misleading others intentionally. understand I am not calling you an empty nae I am pointing out you are intentionally misrepresenting the facts I left for you. the only thing worse than someone who would lie to your face is a thief. I personally have no use for either a liar or a thief. literal scum of the earth. So again if you feel like I got the upper hand and you don't want to reason you way out of something just drop it. I promise not to torpedo your exposed flank. If you drop it so will I. If you keep lying I just will not have anything to do with such a dishonorable person. you can't man up and talk to me straight, I have nothing to say to someone like you.
