I hope your new home comes through without any damage. Good for you for staying safe.
I have some friends whom work at a nursing home whom are stuck there, I am worried about them.
Good on you for evacuating! Stay safe, man! I have some family on the coast of SC, and I think they've evacuated as well. That's the best bet in a situation like this.
Thinking of you, Brian. I’m glad you are somewhere safe.

If I had a home in the area...I couldn't help but call insurance companies at the start of business tomorrow and just deadpan questions about coverage.

The Orange Fucktard just called the response to the Puerto Rico hurricane where 3,000 died "one of the best." What he would say if 5,000 died? The Greatest Ever? He thinks they're all Mexicans anyway.

There was mandatory evacuations for all nursing homes and hospitals. I wonder why the ones your friends are at were excluded from that. Also, reports are saying that evacuatees should be heading to places like Ohio and Pennsylvania because Florence will stall once she hits land, dumping at much as 30 or more inches of rain over a three to four day period of time, in one area. So Brian, if you really feel like you should head north, my door is open for you. Disclaimer: I am only responsible for what I say, not what you choose to understand.

I moved to Australia in 79'. An Australian band named "Midnight Oil"(Who I never heard of at the time) just released('78) this song. It's times like this that I remember that song:

My girlfriend thinks I'm a stalker. Well...she's not my girlfriend "yet".
I discovered a new vitamin that fights cancer. I call it ...B9 I also invented a diet pill. It works great but had to quit taking it because of the side effects. Turns out my penis is larger and my hair grew back. And whoa! If you think my hair is nice! When does size truly matter? When it's TOO big! I'm currently working on a new pill I call "Destenze". However...now my shoes don't fit. That kind of rain will be on the direct coast. I am 190 miles inland. Bad news for my house which is two miles inland, new tracks this morning show Florence taking a more southern track, so it could be the eye could hit directly on my house. |
