I was talking to an escapee yesterday, and he said he was building an addition to his mobile home he bought two years ago. The contractor was trying to pressure him to put the siding and windows in on Monday. He was like, "What's the point if it just gets blown to shreds?" He was right. The contractor simply didn't want to lose the work.

One story out of Wilmington NC made national news. Unfortunately a mother and baby were killed when a tree fell on their house because of the hurricane. This morning at breakfast I met two of her friends who had decided to leave and ended up at the same hotel I am in.
