I also dislike (not hate) employees who never say no. Makes me look like a bad guy for having a fucking life.

Don’t get all jelly cause I have the balls to go the fuck home with something left in the tank for me.

Watch me get fired lol

Fuck

I consider myself a volunteer. I chose my career and accept it's challeges. If I start whimpering online about it , maybe it is. time for a change.

So you pretend you don’t have to work?

That’s kind of what I do. Complete submission to capitalism is spiritual suicide anyway. Even if you have the courage to embrace poverty they still try to rape you.

Well, ideally..and as corny as it sounds...you do something for a living that you would do for free (or even pay someone to let you do - the "lemme play with all of your cool expensive shit" career theory).  Not always practical or financially sound, I suppose.

Can you think of some occupation that your boss (even if you're the boss) would have to pry you away from, and additionally why you're not doing whatever that is?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I worked in systems engineering back in the late '80s to '91. That was that job. Got laid off when peace broke out and was unable to ever regain that job. It was an incredible amount of responsibility where mistakes would cost millions in life and property. That adds a little zest to the workday, I can tell you.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

I’d critique books and music.

RE: Work (they always want more)
I just wanted to bump this thread to let people know I worked it out with my employer that I’m only available for so many hours a week and that’s that. They no longer bother me about working more hours or doing extra things. I come in do my job and leave. So many of you were so shitty about me wanting to do less at work and accepting less pay for less responsibility but guess what assholes I did it. I make less. I consume less. I live on less. It turns out there’s different ways to live and different types of deals you can work out with your employers. To all of you piece of shit cunts who said I was being a whiny bitch fuck you. Enjoy wasting your life away at your slave ass 40 plus hours a week while I’m enjoying my free time.

PS This forum sucks.
