I was on a guest on a board a big-ass powerboat running off Key West back in the day. The owner gave the wheel to his eleven year old son and went below for a drink. The kid hit a Coast Guard cutter. We all got a lecture on "proper documents". And the owner got a $5,000 fine and had to pay for repairs to the cutter.
