And - before you decide you'd " love to see Trump impeached "---

Take a good long look at Pence.

To be fair, Buzzfeed News isn't the listicle aggregator Buzzfeed. Same umbrella company, not the same thing/

Their news arm has been a decently reliable source of investigative journalism for a while now. They've broken many of the stories on Trump.

They stand by their story, and Mueller's team's rebuttal was oddly specific. I'm skeptical of what they've written, but they claim they have proof. So, we'll see.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Meh. They broke the story on that dossier about pee, before verifying if any of it was true. Even CNN didnt want to touch it, and they'll break any anti-Trump story. I dont consider them all too reliable. I think they're looking for relevancy.

I wasn’t aware of that distinction, Steel. Thanks! 👍

A very notable feature of both the Mueller and the New York State investigations into trump and his campaign has been they have hitherto both been extremely disciplined about security and totally Air tight. There were no leaks from either investigation I can recall.

This might have been a matter of standard practice, but it is also important because maintaining its airtightness would take the wind out of any whisper campaigns that trump’s cronies and the his Fox News cohorts will do without any scruples whatsoever.

So I have no doubt the Mueller investigation will deny anything that any outside news agency claimed to have scooped as a matter of policy, regardless of whether it has any grains of truth, until Mueller is ready to lay everything on the table.

Not sure where you have been for the past year or so, but Mueller investigation leaks were covered enthusiastically prior to the mid terms. Here's an older article about Mueller investigation leaks:

What is notable this time, is that Mueller has put himself out in front of it. He has never stepped up to deny leaked information before. Something about this leak is potentially damaging to his investigation, perhaps.

It would not be damaging on his part.

Part of any investigation, or court case for that matter, is that the investigators, court hold back information, just like in a murder case, to lock a person interviewed into a timeline story, so that when it hits the grand jury it is far more likely to lead to an indictment.

The "not accurate" response is not negating the entire story. The leak would not come from Mueller's team. If there was one, it would have come from a source interviewed, not the FBI itself.

That's not what the video reveals.  It was more the group that was yelling racist insults against them.
