Trumps base is starting to erode.

RE: Trumps base is starting to erode.
Already a lot of people lost their jobs due to tariffs. And although tariffs help some they harmed much more others and all are Trump voters, but even those that are on verge of losing their jobs still support Trump. Especially farmers who can't sell any soy since China is not buying

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I heard Latin America are buying bargain Soy and selling it to china which is still less than buying from the US because of the tariffs.

So the US farmers lose and china wins again.

Tariffs aren't the whole soybean story. We had a bumper crop and Brazil is having a bumper crop. And by the way, the Chinese have started buying US soybeans again.

That would make no sense. Are you saying that Latin America bought US soybeans and sold them to China? That would be fine with US farmers. That would be an end run around Chinese restrictions, not US restrictions.

The Chinese have been buying South American soybeans for quite awhile. Brazil has a bumper crop this year.

Supply & Demand, of course; Brazil is paying less than China, but being a perishable, US farmers have no say in where their goods go.

What's the price of weed these days? It's been a long time since I was in the market.

OK. I figured out what you folks are talking about with other countries buying US soybeans and sending them to China.
That's not quite what's happening, and this sort of thing actually happens with more frequency than people realize.
Let's say Canada has a trade agreement with Malaysia where Malaysia buys their soybeans at market price.
China gets into a dispute with the US and wants to avoid buying US soybeans.
China offers Canada $3 per bushel above market for their soybeans.
Canada must honor its commitment to Malaysia.
Canada pays US market rate to ship US beans to Malaysia.
Canada then sells its own beans to China for $3 per bushel above market rate.
The US gets paid market rate for its beans.
Canada was paid a hefty premium for its beans.

Yes they are buying it at heavily discounted prices. After all the farmers cant sell to china now and have to sell somewhere or it just rots. But mainly they are just selling their soya instead of the USA. This may be permanent. US soya may never recover.

The polls also said he wouldn't get elected in 2016, so no offense but I tend to wonder if these polls are complete horse shit.

All I can say is, for some reason, Trumps fans don't seem to turn on him. It's one of the most illogical fanbases I've ever personally seen for a president and it scares me. Here's to hoping we get a Dem in office in 2020.

1. A lots changed in the methodology since 2016 and it wasn't that the polls were totally off it's certain information was ignored or under reported .

2. They have not turned on him yet

The methodology for what? Conducting surveys? For which organizations and how has the methodology changed? Where are you getting this info?
