This to me seems like a massive non sequitur. A quick Google tells me there is no international embargo on which countries can build nuke power stations. The Saudis couldn't build a pencil sharpener so if this proposal goes ahead the thing will likely be built by Canada, France or Japan and it will almost certainly be a standard issue water boiler not a breeder reactor of any sort.
What am I missing?
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

It's a theocracy. There are people who like to describe it in contemporary terms as a theomonarchy. Very much like a medieval christian fiefdom, yes.

It's not even close to a theocracy; Saudi Arabia is a tribal royal regime just like the medieval regimes that ruled Europe. Calling the medieval French crown or English crown religious is very inaccurate and wrong. |
