Who cares? How is any of that relevant to whether or not a god exists and whether or not Jesus was the son of that god? The book is the claim, not the evidence. Disprove Mohammad. If you can’t, then I guess now you’re Muslim. Bam!

The oldest gospel manuscript is mark text that may be the oldest copy of a gospel known to exist — a fragment of the Gospel of Mark that was written during the first century, before the year 90 — is set to be published.Jan 18, 2015

I'm actually a little bit of everything, like Obama said in his book The Audacity of Hope......"I'm a Christian and a skeptic." But you did make a good point you sexy girl, I am focusing on nonsense. There is no doubt possibly a God, but we have no idea of the Jesus thing, or if there is a God, may not be. Nobody knows for sure though b/c you haven't died and don't posesss mental faculties that I don't

How do you know that a god is possible?

How do you know that God can't exist? You can't know everything, you make the choice though. But selling certainty is what bothers me about Christians and certainly atheists as well, now deep down I am an atheist, I know I must sound like a complete baffoon switching back and forth, but in my heart I know that there is no God, but that doesn't mean I'm right, I'd like to be agnostic, but that's probably just social programming. Are you Irish?

I don’t know that. I never claimed that. You claimed that god was certainly a possibility, so I’m just wondering how you made that determination. I’m Scottish-Italian.

How do you know Thor cant exist? How do you know Poseidon can't exist? How do you know Yoda isn't real?

Christopher Hitchens said it best, "That which can be easily asserted without evidence can be just as easily dismissed without evidence."

How do you know I am not dating Angelina Jolie? Funny, but I'd bet my life you rejected that sentence rightfully as soon as you read it, and did so without trying to prove I am not dating her.

Not a bad point. I guess social conditioning makes you want to believe it's not ridiculous, but we know it is. Do you not trust the dating methods that scientist use on determining the date of the bible? How do they test it anyway? Do they use a piece of the scribe or what? Like a piece of paper? and if you don't rust it please explain

And ScotsItaly I made that determination because technically it may be far fetched and highly unlikely but it is possible that guy is dating Angelina Jolie, I can't say for certain, it's also possible that the Rothchilds are actually secret vampires who control the world and we're being brainwashed by the ppl who run things in the world. lol

Hey Fake Messiah what is your response to how old the NT is, and explain the scientific dating methodology and how it's wrong since you think so? ANd LadyforCamus I called you ScotsItaly, just making sure you are keeping up with this good shit

Yes, I noticed that.

You just gave yourself the correct answer.

"SOCIAL CONDITIONING"

Stop right there. It is far easier for a vulnerable individual to buy what they are sold, especially if it is a parent to a child, than it is to sell the same story to someone raised to be skeptical.

The reason you don't believe in Osiris is because you didn't live in ancient Egypt. The reason you don't believe in Vishnu is because you don't live in India. The reason you don't believe in the Mayan gods is because you were not raised in ancient Central America.

But, even adults can grow up not having a religion, but also be ignorant, have some "oh shit" PTSD moment and fall into any religion.

Education is the best vaccine to superstition.

I hate to keep barking the same shit but why the fuck am I finding claims that carbon dating (not 100% reliable) and other dating proves how old the NT was? I
