RE: Ask a woman who just turned 50.
As someone who is about to be 57, my only question is . .

"What are you doing on Saturday night ?"

Happy Birthday! I just turned 60 yesterday. Parts of me don't feel a day over 49, other parts don't feel a day under 79.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

As someone who is about to leave her 20s and is stressing about it….do you feel devalued as you age?

Happy belated birthday!

I totally get your assessment of how you feel...I am 64. My 50s kicked my butt with breast cancer and then a heart attack...it was not a good decade for me.

And it was brought back 11 hours ago. No more slaps on the hand for necroposting.

Watching TV until I fall asleep, which will be between 8.30 and 10.00.

However, if that's an invitation , I accept.  You'll need to pick me up because I no longer drive at night. Oh, I no longer drink, smoke, gamble  or  go out with dancing girls. Yes, I'm a barrel of laughs.  Cool

Serious question: Have you have become socially invisible?  Usually happens to women around 40, to men around 50 in Australia.

I am most definitely not socially invisible. I'm happily single and love my life. I have a good group of friends that I've known for 30 years and often go out with. I have a son and three grandchildren. I'm an author of two books and work part time in construction remodeling kitchens, bathrooms, whatever is needed.

I regularly stay up till midnight or after and workout 2-3 times a week at the gym. I also drink socially with friends, don't smoke, gamble at a casino once a year (if that) and I haven't been out dancing with the girls in a very long time, but I do love to dance.

Mostly I was simply curious about what you did on a typical Saturday night.
