Have you ever tried to get to know a single atheist from this forum on a personal level? Have you ever asked anyone about themselves? About their reasons for not believing? About how they came to be an atheist? Do you even care? It seems to me that you only care about yourself, and how right you believe you are. This is a big part of the reason you are regularly mocked. I'm just the opposite.  I never asked to get Drich banned, and the one time (since I've been a mod) that someone reported him, I voted in Drich's favour.  Not because I like Drich, or want to take long, windy walks with him, or because he brings anything of note to the forum.  As distasteful as he is to have around, he hasn't done anything that merits banning (although he has skirted the edge a few times).

Even Drich deserves to be treated fairly and in accordance with the rules.  The fact that he's still here shows that he is - his phony martyr routine aside - being so treated.

Again the first post spawned 4 seperate threads with questions directed at me... maybe you did not read those maybe your memory is bad maybe you don't see the question posted i see. last I checked there are a hand full of christians answering questions. correcting bad theology, and it is no better for them. in fact at the beginning of the year about 2/3s of the christians on this site walked because of how bad it has gotten. I am not the only one who see this problem.

I probably know more about the older members than you do. however at some point more often then not one of you will leverage their friendship or put the friendship up against God. and at that point we have to choose. that is also one of the reason some of the friendlier christian members left.
We all did have a big dicussion and everyone did air their reasons and they pleaded for me to leave with them (again like you using the friend card to challange what I believe a bout God and my purpose here. So I and a few other stayed.

Most of you expected God to do ABC after you did 123, then God sent a storm or hardship which tested your understanding of God and you came to conclusion that everything you know about God is not true, yet rather than assume you have it wrong you conclude there is no God because if he where real he would certainly do whatever it took to win you over.

About how they came to be an atheist?

because they are honest with themselves. they tested what they understood of God and found that god is not real... however they automatically assume no God is real because God has not personally catered to them specifically. Or science and reason tells them not to and they have been conditioned to not question science and reason.

Do you even care?

Honestly I am not here to save anyone persay.. I am here so that if and when you find yourself on the wrong side of judgement you will not be haunted in hell for the rest of your time with the burning question of what if I had access to the truth would I do anything differently. (this was what happened to me this is what made me drop atheism, God showed me the truth and once I knew it I knew i did not want hell.)

I respect those who openly choose hell. how ever I will take the time to correct someone if they choose hell because they have something wrong with their understanding of God.

you know I do not get paid doing this right? you know this can take up to 4 to 8 hours a day durning the middle of the work week, plus the time I take at home researching topics... So what do I gain here how is this for me? I am right, because like this last post shows I do the research before I speak each and every time and you people do not.

We are on two different levels. I bring literal scientific fact, and truth to every single discussion, and most of you equip yourselves with faith in what you think you know. I often select subjects I spend alot of time in that people on the outside might feel a strong sense that they have a understanding about..
like slavery for instance. Most people are conditioned to react negatively to this word... so what do I do? I point out facts, well documented up popular facts. like I will give some of the details on how this country was formed and how we would not be a united states without slavery. or will point out the world over half is in one form of slavery or another and that we still need it or billions would die of hunger and starvation. 

What I get in response is what you have been taught think and say when ever the word is used. it does not matter that I speak factually or with 100% truth. the feeling of the truth/righteousness is the new prize. because you feel justified or right more often than not you will ignore fact and or even your precious science which makes you a hypocrite, unless there is something wrong with my message and many do try and disprove what I have to say, but ultimately found it easier to find fault in me.. because somehow to you if the messenger is bad so too is the message.

I am mocked because if I am right about history science and or politics then it forces people to take the religion more seriously and again in order to do that you have to rethink everything.

I looked it up myself and found only heretics believe in the 30 books.

In that there is only one true FSM and he only authorised one book. So take your cult or "other religion" to the appropriate part of the web site.

But here's the thing..  2/3s of the christian members walked away from the site for the very same reasons I brought to you all. There is no discussion with any one any more it is just a brawl.
