Krokodil is ugly stuff. The whole flesh-eating thing is what happens when it's improperly extracted. But yea, point taken. I think a much better route is to make drugs legal and allow addicts medically supervised access to the drugs and, hopefully, rehabilitation. Call me optimistic, I guess. I have more faith in humanity than many.

Even if they don't undergo rehab, it's clear that, with America's alarmingly high incarceration rate with little being done to stem the tide on one hand, and Russia's epidemic of flesh-eating opioids on the other, legalising drugs can't make things worse.

For sure. But passing that idea by the repubtards is about as viable as telling them we need stricter gun control. It's all a slippery-slope into liberal madness.

My phone is being annoying and wants to type random strings of text in when I try to quote you. But yes, we certainly agree. Gun control is necessary, like, yesterday. To call what we have in place now "gun control" is the overstatement of the year.

But, even if an all-out ban on guns would be effective, which I don't think it would be... We have to understand that it's simply never going to happen here. At least, not any time soon. Like, not in our lifetimes.

There have actually been multiple Batman v. Superman fights in officially sanctioned media pre-Snyder. Superman wins more often than Batman. Bear in mind: this was uploaded to Youtube the month before the movie was released. And given the nature of the canon of the DC Universe, (there are at least three canons post-Infinite Crisis IN THE COMICS ALONE, and this doesn't even go into Elseworlds, the Cinematic Universe, the Animated Universe, or any other one), questions of whether any of them are canon are kind of moot.

A couple days ago in Sydney (in fact right near the building where I was working) a crazy guy was out trying to stab people with a big knife. He got one woman injured (that was in a hotel building, I believe) and maybe murdered another woman (if it was indeed him), but otherwise failed to even hurt others.

Imagine now he had a gun instead.

Or... Imagine being a psychopathic criminal who doesn't care about the legality of firearms and buying one on the black market anyway... Woah

The black market couldn't pump as many guns into the US as the NRA has. There may not be a perfect solution to this massacre, but cutting down on the number of shootings would be a step in the right direction.
