Yup.  What an adult puts into their own body is their own bloody business.

Boru

So you are OK with a product - that when used correctly - kills the user?

I control my body and what I put in it.  Not you, or anyone else.

So...to answer your question, with the understanding that it's done by an individual qualified* for informed consent...YES!

*That qualification varies by State.  Usually considered to be the age of 18 or 21.
Disappointing theists since 1968!

Yes, of course I am.  Why wouldn't I be?  Everyone knows that tobacco is deadly (and anyone one who doesn't is too stupid to live anyway), so people who opt to use it are walking into it with their eyes open.

I also support the legal use of heroin, PCP, methamphetamines, and any other drug you can think of.

Fair point.  And while tobacco kills more people, alcohol abuse is probably responsible for more overall human misery.

Full disclosure: I did not read the article.
"Oh, Thena...You're so bad!" Lol

Anyway, I'm assuming that vaping products are still legal--just not the yummy, Goofy Grape and Sensational Strawberry flavored types which happen to be most popular with the youngins. If such is the case, I'm inclined to think that banning them may not have been a bad move.

I think that e-cigs can be useful as a smoking reduction or cessation tool. But making them tasty and in assorted, Fun Fruity flavors is clearly a marketing ploy to turn teens and young adults on to the wonderful world of nicotine--who otherwise may have had no interest in nicotine products at all.

Vaping has been falsely sold as safer than traditional tobacco.

It does get rid of carbon inhalation, but it replaces it with chemical inhalation. If you are boiling chemicals you are not making your lungs free from damage.

I inhale boiling oxygen and nitrogen all day.   Boiling carbon dioxide also slosh about my lungs.    I am pretty sure my lungs would be less free from damage if I didn't inhale them.

Well, we all do that.  All gases involved in respiration are well above their boiling points.

I love watching people's opinion on the effectiveness of government bans switch in real time.
