And that doesn’t stop it being propaganda.
After all, Kirk Cameron claims to have been an atheist and lies about us, too. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" You don't have to like the guy or agree with his views on some atheists, but he does argue against Christianity on Quora and elsewhere, just not on his blog which is specifically to correct (in his view) atheistic misinterpretations of history related to Christianity and such. teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
C'mon, people need a lot of saints in order for them to celebrate name birthdays(I don't know if that is a thing outside of my country).

In some cultures, yes. When I was growing up Catholic, my birthday saint (March 24) was St. Gabriel the Archangel.
