The face veil pre-dates Islam

No. lol. Please bring me a verse from the Quran because this will be interesting.

Lol indeed for you know nothing about Islam and Islamic culture. There are many verses that explain Earth to be flat, shaped like a rug and that Sun sets in mud and Muslims held to it.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I'm delighted that you reject the Hadith, but it's immaterial, innit, because YOU aren't the one stoning adulterers and blasphemers.  There are at least ten Muslim majority countries where stoning is carried out, to a greater or lesser extent.  The fact that some (possibly a majority) of these stonings are extrajudicial is beside the point.  Stoning is deeply ingrained in Islamic culture.

Muslim scholars were pioneers in defining earth as an "egg-like":

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spherical_..._astronomy

Quote:Early Islamic scholars recognized Earth's sphericity,[85] leading Muslim mathematicians to develop spherical trigonometry[86] in order to further mensuration and to calculate the distance and direction from any given point on the Earth to Mecca. This determined the Qibla, or Muslim direction of prayer.

The source is huge, many ancient Muslim scholars said that earth is round. Nothing personal FM, bur we Muslims need that kind of concept to pray. Our prayer is very connected to direction.

Moreover, it is said that earth is round since the times of the Greeks..so.......

So I guess this Muslim, Fadhel Al-Sa'd, doesn't pray then, because there are no directions on flat Earth.

I believe that simplicity is the way to solve anything. Across the Quran stoning does not exist as a sentence, so if a person wanted to stone his wife because the Quran said so then he is:

1-A liar claiming the existence of verses that don't exist
2-The Hadith is an obsolete since it's the word of man that came 200 years after the Quran

I doubt that it is practiced as a law; even Saudi Arabia stopped it, you have to list the countries that do it, we only saw it returning in Syria with ISIS.

I insist that you see the amounts of Muslims on xhamster and twitter who post nudes of themselves..yes; pornhub too.

But the last sentence is true, it has roots as deep as the Hadith's roots because that is its source

That would be inaccurate. Stoning is deeply ingrained in the entire regional culture, not just the portion that adheres to this or that psuedo holy rambling. There's always local flavor when it comes to executions. The Iroquois, during mourning war, would cut off the fingers of their captives, making them sing and dance on a scaffold under which they'd lit a fire....branding them if they slowed down....and, finally, when they could no longer dance...would crack open their skulls and pour sand in them.

You could receive a pardon from this sentence, and if so, you would take the place, title, belongings, responsibilities, and even human relationships of the deceased. If I had to wager a guess, the prefgerence for stoning is likely due to access. There are lots of rocks. In places with tons of water or fiber for cordage they might prefer drowning or hanging. Just as burnings are immensely popular in densely wooded areas. Human superstition and cultural predilection has a tendency to mirror our circumstance - though it can outlast that circumstance, obviously.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

In one of the Discworld novels (I disremember which), the patrician of Ankh-Morpork is described as believing in giving everyone a fair chance:  Criminals would have their legs and lips cut off and promised their freedom if they could run through the city playing a trumpet.

Speaking of local flavors; stoning is a dirty heathen habit that Jews borrowed from heathen religions, embedded it in their own:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoning#History

Quote:stoning is attested in the Near East since ancient times as a form of capital punishment for grave sins.[47] Stoning was "presumably" the standard form of capital punishment in ancient Israel.[48] It is attested in the Old Testament as a punishment for blasphemy,

I don't know where did Jews bring it from. But if ancient Israel did it, then probably a heathen community in the Levant was doing it; and Jews copy-cat them.

For all I care; Jewish extreme, inhumane sentences are being blamed on the Quran.
I wonder how much and how many Zionists and right-wing bastards payed to spread the rumor.

I feel sorry for you pal. Even the NUMBER OF PRAYERS PER DAY isn't mentioned in the Qur'an. Come on man stop distorting this religion and make it more misunderstood than it already is. I am sincerely advising you as a brother to leave this forum altogether, you're not serving your religion nor your nonreligious friends, you are extremely misinformed about the most basic teachings of Islam and yet speak with a disgustingly assertive tone.
How do even pray for God's sake if you don't know the hadiths ? What makes you think the way you pray is the correct and acceptable one if you reject the hadiths ?
Tell me please, how do you pray?

Stoning DOES EXIST in Islam. Go back and read what leading professional theologicians (Al-Albani, Ibn-baz, Ibn taymiah, etc.) wrote about the topic instead of bending incontrovertible religious texts, this is ridiculous and you should be ashame of yourself to talk of your religion in such a careless manner.

Leave Islam and Muslims alone and go back to your pornographic swamp to preach your distorted version of established theology.

It has roots in the despicable idiocy with which you present your (already vastly misunderstood) religion here and probably elsewhere. Go back to school and leave serious matters to educated people.
