By chance?

RE: By chance?
Still waiting for @Yukon_Jack to explain the penguin. Oh right, ID can't do that because it has neither explanatory nor predictive abilities as a consequence of being a fairytale rather than a theory.

Yeah, I've never heard ID do anything else but rant against evolution. ID is more like a conspiracy theory.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Wow too many responses and too little time for me to even make an effort to rebuke, but as for the insult hurlers, I see I insults as a weak arrow crumbles upon impact to a coat of strong armor. Remember that.

“As an aside, the genetics for eyespot patterns already existed in the population, it wasn't a new mutation, chance or otherwise. “

Really now, this doesn’t explain how it got there in the first place. Does it?

The fact that a picture perfect like artist rendition of owls eyes, BOTH EYES, replete w iris colors to match that of the mighty predator owl appears on a butterfly by CHANCE makes me think I could win the lottery every week running for an entire year.

You do not have to respond to every post. I recommend you select the posts that make the best points. It's the best use of everyone's time. And I hope you meant 'rebut', not 'rebuke'.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

1. He has no real response just excuses not to respond

2. He confuses insults with stating facts(which are nuclear warheads not arrows ) and confuses armor with the density of his ignorance

3. Thinks anyone gives a damn about what he thinks of their comments

4. Thinks he refuted anything at all

5. Continues to repeat the same fallacies he has since coming here

Because it is, as many people have repeatedly explained to you.  Rigged, by selection.

Conceptually, you could win the lottery every week for a year - but it's phenomenally unlikely. In the same sense, while an eye spot pattern is certainly possible, there they are, the vast majority of things that could have them, don't.

If evolution is false why do we need a different flu shot every year?

If we are not descended from animals, why do all mammals have the same organs in the same number in the equivalent locations in the body? (always 1 heart, 2 kidneys, 1 spleen etc.)

Bacteria have evolved to digest PET (a form of plastic) this did not exist a few decades ago, think what could evolve after a few hundred million years. http://www.sciencealert.com/new-plastic-...revolution

Bacteria have now evolved resistance to antibiotics (look at MRSA, it didn't exist 30 years ago) Some snakes (boa constrictors etc) have pelvic girdles, something that is only useful to an animal with legs, evidence that they once had legs but later evolved to their current legless form

In the 150 years since Darwin, not a single finding or experiment has falsified evolution, the discovery of a feathered rabbit or a furry breastfeeding bird would disprove evolution.

Why did a god design us with a common opening for eating, drinking and breathing, that's stupid design, any first year engineering student could do a better job..... stupid god

In the 1950's they subjected a jar of methane and ammonia (Earths early atmosphere) to uv light and electrical discharges and after a few months it had formed amino acids. Imagine what could happen after 4 billion years https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miller%E2%...experiment
The meek shall inherit the Earth, the rest of us will fly to the stars.

Never underestimate the power of very stupid people in large groups

Arguing with an engineer is like wrestling with a pig in mud ..... after a while you realise that the pig likes it!

Oh they will ploy the tired old

1.That's just adaption not evolution canard compartmentalization at it's finest

2.They will move the goal post .Insist i already existed magically .

3.Thy will just say it's just a snake with X

4. This dummy think Richard Lenski disproved evolution despite him accepting the theory and mocking creationist who say it backs creationism

5.They will ploy the bad design still means designed .Though it fails

6.They will say the atmosphere was wrong while ignoring the fact experiments were done with other atmospheres. Then move the goal post .

Your dealing with a fanatic who can just woo woo away arguments.

I bet Yukon thinks Trump is the bees knees as well

As far as evolution and chance I suggest he reads The Blind Watch Maker. Or TalkOrigins essay on common descent( which takes about a week to read and analyse if a layman). But an honest creationist is hard to find.
