Aside from that, I'm just going to ask again how you and I, who have more in common than most of the members of these boards, can be on opposite sides of this issue? Not even as an issue of political interest...but practically, fundamentally, purely as a matter of circumstance.......how...?
I want to be able to explain to my homeschooled children how people just like their dad managed to justify...not to anyone else, but to themselves...gutting the idea of the united states of america.

I am shocked that fucks news wasn't interrupting. Actually they did last night in prime time. But even during the day, it was shocking. OH and even ABC, NBC AND CBS ditched their daytime TV to cover it.

It's abusurd. I don't even know wtf I'm watching. I can't figure out how it would help a senator..of any party, to abdicate their own authority. It's not even an issue of whether or not he did it, or whether or not he'll be held accountable for doing it, to me.
