The problem with "Holy Places".

RE: The problem with "Holy Places".
Generally looking at sites of immense carnage and the paraphernalia of state for our holy places.

OTOH, we've got the National Parks, too.
(there's overlap)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Like why is haunted? What makes a house "special" to contain a supposed free-roaming spirit? Why is the spirit always wearing clothes, did their clothes die? Why are their not Dinosaur ghosts? If a ghost can walk through walls, why do they not fall through the earth when 'walking' or sitting down or whatever ghost's do.

A house is just bricks/wood formed into a pattern of straight lines, there is nothing overtly special that means a demon would be stuck in there or whatever. Same with Holy places - Who decided which part is holy? Is there like a 'Border' of knowing when you're in the holy place and not just in a non holy section?

With regards to the 'dinosaur' component; I have heard it claimed that ghost dinosaurs were misidentified and  became the origin of the dragon stories. Otherwise most of Europe was at the bottom of the Tethys Sea and thus any ghosts would be below sea level. Feel free to apply as much salt as you like, Tethys left vast quantities of the stuff.

That's actually a really interesting take on that, could explain sea monsters? Still, you'd think they'd have to be contained by the sea somehow, but there you go lol. It also applies to animal spirits as well. Do plants have spirits? If clothing does then possibly lol.

If you look at the geology the bed rock is a red salty sandstone with lumps of limestone and chalk that used to be coral reefs and a few swampy islands that became our coal fields. Fossil-wise we have ammonites, icthyosaurs and plesiosaurs.

As for other animal ghosts there are more than enough 'black dogs' to shake a stick at and a few horses and carriages, particularly along the A57.

Do you ever visit holy places as a tourist? Like would you walk over 7,500 feet of stairs to visit these two Buddhist Temples in China?

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Due to our movement that "holy spot" moved away from us at the rate of a light year every 1500 years or so.

Any supreme being who creates holy spots shouldn't have to follow us about readjusting his spot to account for our movement.....

Im not sure where u got that definition of a holy place but as far as i understand it has nothing to do with being in the center of the universe...

He means that Mecca (for example) is constantly changing its location.  Thus, the idea of a 'fixed' place would require either that everything moves except us or that nothing in the universe ever moves.

But, as had been said, a 'holy' place has much more to do with culture and history than it does with geography and topology.

Well, I've climbed Croagh Patrick (kept me boots on, though).
