But if I was ever asked, humanity did some terrible, terrible things that never began with atomic weapons and didn't end with the world wars.

The point is Rev.Rye that corona is a category of virus - not a specific virus. At a push coronavirus but OP is so duning-kruger-tastic he feels justified in making his own pig-ignorant abbreviation. Technically, THIS virus is called COVID-19.
