He'll hold a plebiscite to determine Allah's opinion, as he/his deity lacks competence in the subject.
He made it in his own image.

Humanity doesn't deserve Coronavirus just like it doesn't deserve Islam.
And yet they are both here: one to plague the body and other to plague the mind.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

He just managed to justify torture, but this may have escaped some in the midst of all this insanity.

Of course he did. He's always going on about the authority of the Quran, so the approval of torture is part and parcel of his being.

I find this particularly interesting since he also claims that the Quran orders muslims to fight enemies not with excess. So it seems ok to torture your own (criminals) people, but fight enemies only the way they fight you. Double standard much?
Once again, abrahamic religions show to be a set of orders and proclamations rather than a coherent and consistent system on how to live together.
On a sidenote, i found it ridiculous beyond belief that he really wanted to have a vote on what the Quran really means. As was already pointed out, his extremist view would be certainly not on top of the list. Once again i come to think that most often than not, he actually doesnt think twice about what verbal diarreha he is spreading here.
I really hope not many people think they way he does, and i hope that he has not much influence on his surroundings. He would be one dangerous motherfucker (to his fellow humans).

Such a notion of warfare would be inconsistent with principles by which it has been waged since we invented writing;
ref: Sun Tzu, von Clauswitz, etc.
But this just shows his ineptitude again.

The hypocrisy and double standards are obvious here. You mistype rouge instead of rogue and the irate man pounces on it. But they are untroubled by the fact that certain atheist posters on this forum invariably mistake its/it's, your/you're, and effect/affect.
This is not about proper language, it's about poking one's "enemy" in the eye. It's team sports unrelated to truth. He is just seeking to shut me up via "tiring me". This is a tactic usually practiced in online debating by people with weaker points: remember when I told you that "physical harm" is not possible? thus they try to tire you psychologically by focusing on gullible things; commenting on your grammar or intentionally "acting a fool" over and over and over.
It's not a proper language indeed; but what you can do is just say the truth; other people will read it.

I've written on other threads about what constitutes bigotry: looking at a huge and diverse group of people and then pretending that the absolute worst members of that group are "definitionally" the essence of that group. Also looking at problems that appear in all kinds of groups and blaming only the group one is bigoted against.
You're not debating against reasonable people. These are passionate emotional individuals who don't care about historical accuracy.
Actually; the Syrian government of Assad is the best thing happened to the U.S in Syria. As an Arab, we know very well that Assad is a zionist and never hurts the U.S or Israel, the dictator even fights anti-U.S movements like the Turkish intervention in Syria.
He is protecting Israel which is a mere American proxy in the region, fighting Turkey but never fired a bullet towards Israel or America.
There even news that ISIS never got a foothold in Syria but with his aid.
As for those I debate, as I always say: my goal is the reader; not them personally.

Ah here's a guy who knows a lot about hypocrisy and bigotry: Belacqua who constantly promotes bigoted theologians and their bigoted theology (likes of which mentioned in my signature) calling now out other people bigots and hypocrites.
WinterHold is not aware that saint Augustine whome Belacqua follows and promotes, would have him at least tortured if not killed for believing in "distorted" interpretation of Bible. Real friends those two.
