The official standard of a serving is 15g, which typically for bureaucratic standards is about 1 and a bit rashers...
In reality 2 or 3 rashers is normal (here at least)...

I personally eat 3 or sometimes 4 strips (AKA "rashers") at breakfast (when I do- I eat bacon maybe twice a month, as I'm supposed to be a good boy and limit my intake of saturated fat). Then I see info about the Atkins diet and go have a couple more strips.

I don't cook up anything less than the "Mega" pack of bacon when I cook. Why bother.

We often cook a whole package of bacon and put part of it in the fridge for sandwiches or to break up in an omelet the next day.
Bacon is a pain in the ass to cook so I prefer to just do a whole pack and be done with it.

I have done the bake in the oven method...takes some monitoring but much less splatter.
Of course, then the fat rendered off is put in a container for use later frying eggs or potatoes. Yummmmm.

This.
However I've been leaning toward the ready-cooked stuff lately. I don't have much joy dealing with splatters these days.
BTW, if you don't already know you can snip the edges that bulge (pucker) with kitchen scissors and it will lay flat.
I cut the strips in half if I am going to fry it. Doesn't curl that way.
