One clear, precise prophecy of Muhammad.. among many

One clear, precise prophecy of Muhammad.. among many
What follows is quoted from Sahih Muslim, one the most renowned collections of authentic hadiths;

He (the enquirer) again said: Inform me about the hour (of the Doom). He (the Holy Prophet) remarked: One who is asked knows no more than the one who is inquiring (about it). He (the inquirer) said: Tell me some of its indications. He (the Holy Prophet) said: That the slave-girl will give birth to her mistress and master, that you will find barefooted, destitute goat-herds vying with one another in the construction of magnificent buildings. [Source : https://sunnah.com/muslim/1/1]

'Barefooted, destitute goat-herds' incontrovertibly refers to inhabitants of any country in the Arabian peninsula. These folks, according to Muhammad, will compete with each other about building the tallest skyscrapers. The Arabic equivalent of "vying with one another", tatawala' تطاول is more expressive, being derived from the word toul' طول literally meaning length. The reader can easily check the accuracy of these translations. Muhammad clearly referred to buildings, guaranteeing that this prophecy can't be misinterpreted in any other way.

Muhammad's prophecy came true in the modern era, there are many skyscrapers in numerous countries belonging to the Arab league:

Now let's hear our dear skeptics complaining of the vagueness of Muhammad's prophecies ; Lalala

Well, "destitute goat-herders" refers to *some* inhabitants of the Arab peninsula. But some of the richest people on earth also live there.

The 9-11 tall-building destroyers weren't destitute; they had been studying architecture and other things in Europe. They paid for flight lessons. And we now know the name of their liaison in the Saudi embassy.

Plus the very non-destitute owners of the tall buildings are currently massacring the destitute in Yemen.

Probably a lot of the ISIS fighters come from poor backgrounds. But so far they've only destroyed lower buildings -- though some of those buildings were historically important.

As Bel pointed out, the buildings in question weren’t built by barefoot destitute goat herders, but by governments and corporations valued at tens of billions of dollars. Also, when did the slave girl give birth to here mistress and master? That’d be a neat trick.

So, not only is the prophecy not precise, it is dead wrong.

You’re such a silly-billy.

Are you really that stupid, guys ?

Muhammad was talking to people who lived fourteen centuries ago, they had no idea what "governments and corporations" would mean, had Muhammad used these terms. Muhammad's contemporaries know what herding and goats mean, they didn't know much about corporations and embassies. So the expression "barefoot destitute goat herds" merely refers to the geographical area where his prediction is supposed to happen, because, obviously, nobody builds things while barefoot.

It's really stupid to try and interpret the words "barefoot" and "destitute" literally, even more so when thay are attempts of translation from their more expressive equivalents in Arabic.

How is that? Are you saying that what's below has no basis in reality? Because that's what usually refer to when talking about magnificient tall buildings.

If the prophecy isn’t to be interpreted literally, there’s no way it can be ‘clear and precise.’ One could make the case that the Prophet was referring to Scandinavian goat herders, or Mongolian shepherds vying to build the biggest yurt.

Don’t take it personally - all religionists want prophecies to be true, so they look and look and look until they find something that they imagine will fit the bill.  Since it never quite fits, they resort to twisted meanings to file off the rough edges (much like you’re doing here).

It’s understandable, I suppose - Muhammad wouldn’t be Muhammad if you didn’t convince yourself he had magical powers.
