One can argue his history, but it wasn't static. Malcolm X was still reacting to abuse for the same reason MLK was.
Late in his life, Malcolm came to the conclusion that separation wouldn't work. Both Malcolm and Martin Luther King Jr, while they didn't agree on tactics, they eventually agreed that inequality and injustice were the problem.

have you read lincolons letters? most of you have no idea who the man was nor his plan for slaves. he did not like black people and moved to abolish slavery to one end, that was to win the war. here is a letter lincolon wanted published in the NY tribune. he has in another letter written to the president of the confederate states/jefferson davis. stating he had 100 days to sit with him at the negotiating table or he would release all slaves. the south was winning the war at the time and told Abraham to pound sand. here are his thoughts on slavery: http://housedivided.dickinson.edu/sites/...t-22-1862/
