And I’m not terribly sanguine that the descendants of dislocated Palestinians would accept compensation. They want a State. Same motivations as certain Native Americans telling the US to shove its offer of a billion-and-something dollars - they don’t want the money, they want the Black Hills.

But modern Palestinians are NOT native to the area. There’s really no such thing as a ‘Palestinian native’, but the closest you’re going to get to it are the Israelis.
