I am still somewhat scared. Not as much since Nov 4th. But the fact today that the VP will not ceremonially confirm Biden's win today, because of Trump's incitement gives me pause long term.

I read a great book about that - the opportunity that being able to re-envision and reconstruct the whitehouse presented. It helped to change our perception of a seat of power to a symbol of power, further detaching american ideology from destructible objects - palpably contributing to notions of an invincible state. Im checking amazon to see if i can remember the title - if you like that sort of stuff.
