The event has been called StormTheCapitol with right-wing groups. Does anyone thing that dozens of people (at least) hadn't been planning for an actual storming of the Capitol?

Trump eats right-wing media for breakfast. He knew what this was about. He told everyone that it would be "wild". How can anyone interpret that this wasn't a call for "direct action"?

Someone's head still needs to roll for the security.

The best argument for the 25th amendment is not that Trump was hoping for insurrection. That's just criminal and impeachable. It was the fact that he thought this would actually help his cause. That's crazy!

I remember when I was a kid my parent had an album of a speech, or speeches, by JFK.  He's the first president I remember.  He of the "Ask not what your country can do for you..."  

For four years that's all Trump has done...when he hasn't gotten the answer he wanted he has lashed out and stirred up hate and discontent.

Well, for one thing, I do not support violent mobs not matter what the cause.  I do support peaceful protests as it is our right as Americans.  I even support the Trump followers right to assemble and demonstrate their outrage even if it is sadly misplaced.  So hold your scorn for those you know for certain are guilty.

The mob last night did break into government buildings, destroy property, disrupt a government function and enter into government facilities unlawfully.  Also, police reported finding two pipe bombs and a stash of Molotov cocktails nearby.  Thankfully those were not used in the incident.  So your sugar coating is extremely thin.

I mean, it's a bit more complicated - but not by much.  There really are legitimate issues for what we might call or they perceive themselves as - as a demographic..and the rhetoric wouldn't be as effective unless it could manipulate some lever of real truth.  

Ultimately, they're terrified of becoming minorities - because that would be bad.
