Texas what the heck is your water?
It's actually Colorado City, TX and he resigned.
Cruz isn't smart enough to resign.
Right now the water is spoiled due to all the broken pipes and such but that's not the answer to your question. Umm, that's why I said, the former mayor of Colorado Texas
Your right about Cruz not being smart enough to call it quits.
To be fair there are a few states whose water gives me pause. I mean what the hell was in Georgia's water when they elected Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Colorado City...two words. Colorado City.
I know what you meant by the water comment. I stated that what I said wasn't an answer to your question.

I know what you meant by the water comment. I stated that what I said wasn't an answer to your question. There was no need to write city so I didn't. Because last I checked Colorado county doesn't have a single mayor and I doubt most people are even aware of the existence of the unincorporated area of Colorado Texas. So the probability of there being confusion seems remote.
I know you knew what I meant. I was simply making a joke.

the unincorporated area of Colorado Texas (though I could be wrong about the latter ) So the probability of there being confusion seems remote.

Do you suppose that it's generally okay to just drop part of the name of a place?
Colorado, TX doesn't exist. Colorado City, TX does.
We don't say Moines or Francisco. There isn't a far NE state named Hampshire and the North and South is sort of important in designating which Carolina or Dakota you are talking about.
I understand that you play fast and loose with the language - in fact, I usually except that about you.

I understand that you play fast and loose with the language - in fact, I usually except that about you. 1.If I say, New York, New York no one is confused about the place I'm talking about.
2.Yes it does there is a place in Texas named Colorado which has a mayor.
3.If I said, Francisco California no one would doubt what city I'm referring to. If I said Moines Iowa no one would doubt what city I'm referring to. You could cut the New in New Hampshire as long as you mention it's a state. You can skip North and South by simply referring to them as Dakota's or Carolina's
4. I'm fast and loose, I'm simply not redundant.

The unincorporated place called Colorado in Texas is not the same place as Colorado City, Texas.

If you were to write a letter to someone in Fargo, would you address it ‘Fargo, Dakota’?
