Not at all. Based on what I know, a conviction for murder would be just and can be achieved via a fair trial (I'm unable to answer your questions based on what I don't know).

You' ve seen the State's evidence?

All of it?

I' m impressed...

As inept as the justice system is, I would not expect any actual justice to emerge from the trial.

He doesn't need all the evidence to make an educated conclusion. Again pushing the demand of all or nothing.

I'm a Minnesota native who has lived my life with Vikings football teams who always managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I have faith that, like it or not, this will all go pear shaped.

Of course I haven't, and I never said otherwise. I said 'based on what I know', and what I know is admittedly limited and incomplete. If I were a juror in the case and able to see all of the State's evidence, it's entirely possible that my mind could be changed.

But the first of your questions called for an opinion, and your second question was predicated on that opinion. I offered my opinions, based on what I know. Best I can do for you.

So "I don' t know" isn't in your lexicon?

You didn't ask what I know, you asked what I think. I think he'll get a fair trial, but I could be wrong.

I've seen this excuse over and over since Rodney King. Not buying it. The defense lawyer will bring this up, but attacking the victim won't work in this case with that video. And yes, it was murder, full stop.

Yes, I think he will get a fair trial. In this case there is no reason for the state to make up or suppress evidence, or for the defense to not bring up any mitigating facts. Most of the relevant information is already public knowledge.

Yes, I think the defendant acted wrongly and should be held accountable for his crimes.

I'll be surprised if there is a conviction on the most serious of the charges though. The chances that at least one member of the jury is already convinced George Floyd got what he deserved are high. Changing that person's mind would be a hard row to hoe.

How can you think he will get a fair trial when so many people - like yourself - are convinced he is guilty without considering ALL of the State' s evidence...Just one video is all they need.

Or are you an excepption.to the norm - and everyone else buys into " innocent til proven guilty"?
