Nah SUNGULA - "Potential rapists shouldn't be allowed to rack up more innocent victims and I can't possibly Taliban apologist because the Taliban let members of their regime get away with rape which I would be opposed to"

IA - We should assume the Taliban rapist is innocent  and all his victims "are  just being emotional"

I can play this game too  Hehe

Sure, they can be. If they want people convicted without sufficient evidence, I'd call that irrational. Remember that actor that said he wanted to do something to a black guy because his friend or family member or whoever was raped by a black man? Traumatic experiences like that can lead to irrational thinking. I certainly don't blame rape victims for having irrational thoughts. I can only imagine how such an experience would screw with your mind and what pain it would cause. I can certainly understand rape victims wanting all rapists to be punished, but that's not possible without throwing thousands of innocent people under the bus at the same time.

Very often, the people who are impacted by big crimes, are the least credible people in deciding what should happen. Many of the family members who've had a sibling or child or whoever killed, would love to see the perp tortured and slowly killed. The West is better than that.

So, you respond to a post about people being emotional by being emotional yourself and providing no argument? What do you specifically take issue with, and why? Provide a real argument please, rather than just emotion and insults.

No, he responded the way a sane person would to the above statement. That's not emotional. That's simply normal. And the only argument one needs against your statement is to point to it.

You posted that women who want justice without physical evidence for a crime (one that quite often does not have physical evidence) are irrational, and then some other stuff about falsely accused men.
It's not my job to explain to you why that's a disgusting and repugnant statement.
There is nothing wrong with being emotional, so no need to tone-police me. I have earned the right to be emotional about this topic. (and that does not equate to irrational).

One of the more humorous notions of the defense is claiming the police offer was in the fight of his life, Mind you this is with full knowledge video exists.

Then again why bring your A-game when the Z game will free a murderer just as well.

There's nothing wrong with wanting justice in a specific case where you or a witness or whatever know exactly what happened. I wasn't referring to that. I accept your apology in advance. I was referring to those who blame the justice system for most rapists getting off. What I literally posted was "when feminists complain about the justice system". Nothing about rape victims wanting justice. Now, aren't you glad that you asked and found out that your assumptions were wrong? It's unfair and it's a cruel, cruel world, but that's just the way things have to be because of the high standard it takes to show that a rape happened. Better that than putting a bunch of innocent people away, no? Especially when minorities are more likely to be impacted by needing a lesser standard of evidence to convict. And I didn't say all rape victims are irrational. Just that they can be. Any victim of any crime can be irrational. It's perfectly understandable for a family member of a murdered person to want the killer to face the death penalty, but we should look past their emotion and not allow their feelings to impact him being kept alive which is the humane thing to do. It's perfectly understandable to be emotional when something like that has happened to a person. That doesn't itself make someone irrational. Being irrational makes people irrational, like how Sungula apparently thinks suspected or accused rapists should be punished without evidence. I'm pretty sure he's in the extreme minority with his views though, so I'm not too worried about that.
