I'd put it no higher than surprised - that he said it out loud. Note that it was criticized as disgusting and insensitive, not that it wasn't true. Probably ought to send a car out to his house to see if he's keeping any kids in the basement.

You'd think that if they're willing to consider fatal cases of child abuse as some sort of best-case scenario because they don't grow up to ask for government-funded social services, they'd just do a 180 on abortion. After all, every pregnancy that ends in an abortion is one less kid sucking off the government's teat.
