2. AFAIK - a hotel room is considered a temporary domicile and you are ALLOWED to have guns.

But here goes - He was NOT arrested for owning guns.
I does not matter to worshipers when you point out the obvious. They do not care.
It does not matter to them if you point out that ownership isn't of itself the problem, but volume of sales and ease of access is.

Volume of sales isn’t the issue. “Bad guys “ don’t buy them legally. Better screening might prevent some crazies but again they’re often not bought. The crux of the issue that I see and that’s highlighted by both articles is irresponsible gun owners aren’t punished enough.
If you are irresponsible and dangerous to society and hurting your kids CPS comes in and takes your kids. Why not ATF taking guns?

I didn’t say more guns made society safer. I said that volume of sales and ease of access isn’t the issue. If it were the issue, then incidents of gun violence would increase at the same rate as gun sales. That’s not the case.

Volume is exactly why the right keeps getting away with the bullshit they do.
"If everyone would" is the common bullshit argument. "If they would just do this, or do that" "If everyone would just do this or that".
If more guns made America safer, then why is it, among allies whom ALSO ALLOW firearms, have the highest rate of firearm violence related death?
