Frankly, it is a marvel that GOD would not only reverse this sentence on behalf of many undeserving (not all), but willingly do so at such Personal expense/suffering to Himself in the Person of the Lord JESUS, the CHRIST - GOD Incarnate. (John 1:14).

The personal expense to Himself?! What about all the pogroms and persecution of Jews through many generations who were seen as "Christ-killers"?

If God wanted to forgive our sins, why not just appear in the sky above all Earth and say "I forgive you" instead of insane sadomasochism?

Considering that the star of Bethlehem is considered to be all sorts of things like a comet, supernova, planetary conjunction, alien spaceship, star pattern, and whatnot, I don't see why Jesus couldn't be satan, 666-beast, Santa Claus, a pile of shit, guru, alien, avatar, a Muslim, etc.
