Will you fucking cut it with your "they do it too" crap.

If you would fucking study more human history than your own part of the world, you would know that religiously based sexual oppression IS WORLDWIDE!

In both India and China it is still unfortunately tolerated that if a female girl or women is assaulted, more often then not, the female is blamed.

But how the fuck does that excuse what the Taliban wants for females?

Saudi Arabia still has men fighting against the recent laws that now women to drive in that Country. I am 54 and not once in my life did I ever think any religion had any right to tell a female what she could or could not do.

Even to a smaller degree, America has conservative Jews, Conservative Muslims and Conservative Christians that also believe that females have a role different than me, and many sects still think the male is the head of the household.

But even between China and India and even America, the Taliban is still billions of years behind the rest of the world as far as it's treatment of women.

The Taliban are not my "beloved"; they are people with iron will that vanquished both the USSR and the U.S, 2 empires that invaded foreign lands and caused miseries beyond count. I feel happy for seeing the nose of invading forces broken by weak, innocent people. It's a huge plus that they carry the flag of Islamic thought too. My "cheers" for them are limited to these conditions only; once they break them they will become my new enemy.

Remember: the U.S itself have my cheers when it broke the nose of the invading British empire; the French have my cheers when they revolted against the royals, Che Guevara have my cheers for joining the revolt against Fulgencio Batista.

So that's that.
Or, let me quote a Quranic verse that explains my behavior:

Quote:Sura 7, The Quran:
https://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#...rans=en_sh

( 33 )   Say, "My Lord has only forbidden immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed - and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allah that which you do not know."

They are a group of cowardly thugs who terrorized, murdered, and brutally oppressed innocent people and who most of the people they ruled despised

Quote: I feel happy for seeing the nose of invading forces broken by weak, innocent people.
Then you are a monster who supports the brutalities and inhumanities of that regime. The Taliban are weak but they most certainly aren't innocent in the slightest. You are utterly delusional  Dodgy

So Islamic thought is blowing up schools and throwing acid in young girls' faces. Says all that needs to be said about Islam then

Quote: My "cheers" for them are limited to these conditions only; once they break them they will become my new enemy.
Then your conditions are abhorrent  Dodgy

Quote:Remember: the U.S itself have my cheers when it broke the nose of the invading British empire; the French have my cheers when they revolted against the royals, Che Guevara have my cheers for joining the revolt against Fulgencio Batista.
None of those groups are remotely like the Taliban

Your is a lover of cowardly ghouls and nothing else Dodgy

My newness here leaves me unfamiliar on the subject, but how many pages of "Oh yeah, well here's how awful you are..." ripostes can a thread run before it's killed?

Yeah, one really has to wonder how much an actual Taliban who is trying to recruit people to his cause can contribute to any sane conversation.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

What gave you the impression that the people in afghanistan were weak or innocent, Winter? They're the engineers of their own misfortune, and they put in the work.

People get this amusing idea that the region is screwed up because of western (or even soviet) influence and tinkering - but it isn't. It's screwed in spite of it.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Quote:Taliban’s Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar is likely to be declared as the Afghanistan’s new President, sources told CNN-News18.

Baradar is one of the co-founders of the Taliban, who now heads the political office of the insurgent group and is part of the negotiating team that the group has in Doha to try and thrash out a political deal that could pave the way for a ceasefire and more lasting peace in Afghanistan.

What about the Islamophobes that gave us a headache and butchered Millions of Muslims; claiming that the Taliban are terrorists?
What about "the war on terror Huh "?
Oh..right..it was a mere "Crusade":

Hehe
Hilarious

Looks like reading history is not a feature of the U.S government. I mean most crusades were...defeated !

Why are you so angry? One of your intellectual, spiritual and moral brothers is now on the Afghan throne. You should be delighted.

The CIA invaded before the USSR did. There was a slight problem in that every time there was a free and fair election in the country, Afghans kept electing a coalition of socialists and communists (as tends to happen in muslim countries where freedom and education take root). The CIA created the forerunners to al-qaeda and the taliban, trained their fighters (it was easy, the manuals for the Chilean torture machine were still lying around) shovelled money and guns into their fists and let them loose.
