True enough. I used mostly the metric system when in the antenna design business. I busted out laughing the first time I had to spin balance a space craft (career change) and the specs were slug-feet^2 for the moment of inertia.  Hilarious

See if memory serves -

234 ÷ freq (mhz) = 1/4  λ (feet)?

Our rule of thumb was at 1 GHz, one wavelength is so close to 12" that it hardly matters. Though, to be fair, all the range testing that wasn't angular measure was in Imperial measure. Your numbers are very close to my numbers, here.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Too bad you needed Germany to do that and  they adopted the metric system in 1870 .

Once again - you don't know what the fuck you are talking about.

Germany HALF adopted it.

Tell me the thread size and pitch for a 98 Mauser.

Answer - metric size - inch pitch.

And I know why - and you don't.

Yup i got the year of the offical adoption off by two years (The German Empire adopted it in  1872  )  I Honestly just forgot the percise year , And half of adoption is still an adoption (i'll also point out that even when they were using alt systems like the Pfund/Zollpfund tags were still in grams  ) . Not to mention it really doesn't alter my quip so this little temper tantrum of yours wasn't needed .Nor is your irrelevant boasting .

Nope temper tantrum a huge overreaction to a minor error .

You actually more nitpicked and in vain really

And it's funny you keep accusing of being a know it all when I freely acknowledge when I make an  honest error
